Pappasito's Cantina: Houston: George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

On my recent trip to Seattle, my layover was at Houston Intercontinental Airport. It was weird to sort of be home for half an hour, and obviously I wanted to get some Tex-Mex while I was there. With too little time to do a sit down option, Pappasito's it was. The menu here is obviously a little slim.

"Nacho with beans, jalapeƱos, pico de gallo & sour cream $6.99 Add chicken (or steak) $3.99 Add seasoned ground beef 3.49" = $10.98 for this
Ask for an extra salsa (or eight if you're feeling bold) or else they'll just give you one of those little cups up there. Oh how I've missed that Tex-Mex salsa and the extra crunchy tortilla chips! They're grilling the chicken and steak right there in front of you, so you don't have to worry about getting some old chicken shipped in in bags or from yesterday. I would've liked a handful of cilantro and a bit more chicken for the $4 adding it to regular nachos cost me. Mmm nacho cheese, medium hot pickled jalapeƱos... The chip to topping ratio was perfect. I didn't need a fork at the end and neither did I have a bunch of chips left over.

Even the water was a Texas-sized (32 oz.)

All in all, it was a quite satisfying and fast restaurant experience.
